Volt is hiring Spanish/English bilingual tech support reps for our client in North Austin - training begins January 3rd, 2019!

Candidates selected for this role will support many of our client's popular mobile device products, including their industry-leading smart phones and tablets.

As the first point of contact for customers, you’ll be the friendly voice of our client, providing award-winning customer service, troubleshooting, and technical support. We’ll rely on you to listen to customers and use your technical expertise, creativity, and passion for technology and customer service to meet their needs — and remind them that behind these great products are amazing people!

For whom are we looking?

You’re a Spanish/English bilingual communicator (written and verbal), a problem-solver, and amazing with customers!  You’re enthralled by the way things work, and have the ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot your own hardware and software. You can multitask across systems and applications, analyze and resolve a variety of complex technical issues, and comfortably navigate a Windows and/or Mac environment. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time. You’re not only here to help fix technical issues, but also provide an incredible customer experience

Key Qualifications

  • Professional troubleshooting expertise or proven technical ability
  • Customer service focus and passion for support
  • Able to adapt approach to different communication styles
  • Experience interacting with customers in some way
  • Ability to manage multiple applications running at the same time
  • Enjoys troubleshooting technology
  • iOS, smartphone, tablet, PC or Mac experience
  •  

Work Requirements

  • Flexibility to work between the hours of 7:00 am and 10:30 p.m. (Central Time Zone) including weekends, with the possibility to flex up or down hours depending upon business needs
  • Successful completion of initial training
  • Minimum typing speed of 35 wpm while talking with customers
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements, including a criminal background check
