Description/Comment:Summary: Industrial Security Specialist II will interface with customers on security requirements for document control and other security related tasks. Function in a support role for the Classified and Sensitive Materials Management. Provide on-site support to maintain an appropriate and effective Document Control Program in accordance with the National Industry Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). The successful candidate will administer security procedures for classified and/or proprietary materials, documents and equipment/assets for multiple moderate to large sized contractual activities; Develop and prepare or modify, as necessary, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Subcontractor DD Form 254, work instructions plans utilizing risk management principles. Oversee the document control system that facilitates the management of all security information under the individual’s purview. Establish and maintain the reproduction and destruction capabilities and procedures for classified and/or proprietary materials. Establish and oversee specialized procedures for the transmission of classified and/or proprietary material and information. Participate in annual security reviews being able to compare policies and procedures with actual operations in order to document findings and recommend corrective action, and re-evaluate the implementation of corrective actions. Self-starter, capable of multi-tasking and efficiently managing time. The candidate must be able to work with minimum levels of supervision, and have effective writing, speaking, analytical and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provides customers internal/external with the highest quality of service
• Develops and implements local processes in support of customer and partner needs, utilizing data entry and administrative tools
• Maintain incoming records through electronic media
• Ensure document accuracy before scanning into the central database
• Ensure all documents are received in accordance with the NISPOM standards
• Store, manage, maintain and track all classified and sensitive documents
• Wrap, package, receive, and dispatch documents to ensure the proper handling and dissemination for all classified materials.
• Responsible for tracking inbound/outbound transmittals and distributions
• Archive and/or destroy documents in accordance with NISPOM and contractual records retention standards
• Receive and process requests for information from employees and maintain the request via Access Commander
• Assist with training employees on records management procedures and policies which include documentation retention, retrieval, destruction and disaster recovery as needed
• Assist with annual audits
• Perform monthly inspections of safe(s) and its contents
• Perform other security tasks as needed
• Provide back-up COMSEC support as needed
• Assist the ISSM with weekly audits as needed
• Other security duties as assigned

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of documented qualifying experience
• Must possess a current Secret DoD security clearance
• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment, with demanding deadlines while ensuring internal/external customer needs are met
• Demonstrated ability to cross train and work within a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Required Education:

• Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field and two years of related experience
