Job Description

The qualified applicant will provide application packaging/delivery up to 67,000 nodes.  This position will be located in the Chester, VA. 

Primary role will be to package desktop applications and scripts using MSI, PowerShell and VBScript technologies deployed through Ivanti Endpoint Manager 2017.3. Responsibilities include: packaging desktop applications and updates for distribution and remote installation with Flexera Admin Studio and/or Wise Package Studio; developing or following procedures for testing applications prior to deployment; documenting customizations and technical decisions made during the packaging process; participating in the preparation of materials and oral presentations for customers and management; playing a lead role in meetings relating to specific technical projects or tasks.


  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business) and 2 years of related experience, an additional 4 years of related experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Scripting knowledge and experience (VBSCRIPT or POWERSHELL)
  • Experience with server/ desktop support and management – Microsoft Server 2008\2012, IIS, Windows 7, Windows 10
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in developing and maintaining process, procedures and work instructions
  • Ability to clearly present technical approaches or findings in oral and written formats
  • Self-motivated and directed with the ability to perform without appreciable direction
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to solution, troubleshoot and implement projects


  • Experience in using client management suites such as Ivanti, SCCM or Altiris for electronic software deployments.
  • Knowledge and experience with workstation grade hardware including Dell, HP and Microsoft Surface Pro to include new technologies for processor microarchitectures, chipsets, UEFI and TPM.
