Job Description

Volt is seeking seasoned InfoSec’s for our client in Montgomery AL.  Our Client is focused on delivering high quality and cost-effective security services to military, federal, state and commercial clients. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants selected must have ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Provide support to the Security Control Assessor (SCA) and the SCA Team by performing the following tasks:

  • Review and assess both DIACAP and NIST IA Controls.
  • Maintain technical notes of all control review conducted to support conclusions and assessment reports.
  • Review System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Plans (SAPs), and other required evidence to meet the DIACAP and NIST IA Control requirements.
  • Provide an assessment report of the vulnerabilities discovered during testing. 
  • Provide analysis of potential attack vectors for vulnerabilities, likelihood of occurrence, and impact of the exploitation of the vulnerabilities using NIST SP 800-30.
  • Provide support to the SCA Team as the Air Force migrates to the NIST RMF from DIACAP.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Must have an IAM Level II certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M.  This includes the following certifications:  ISC2 CAP, GSLC, CISM, CISSP, CASP CE
  • Of the certifications listed above the ISC2 CISSP certification is preferred, but not required.
  • Must possess a minimum of 5 years security manager or related experience IAW DoD 8570.01-M to qualify as IAM Level II.
  • Must be able to technically analyze vulnerabilities and provide analysis to include the threat, the attack vectors, mitigations, by performing research and using experience and skills possessed by the individual.
  • Must be a professional who will be willing to learn and grow on the current team of security analysts.
  • Must possess good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Must be a team player.
