Job Description

Job Purpose

  • To operate the injection molding and decontamination equipment during assigned shift

Essential Responsibilities

  • operating the injection molding & decontamination equipment
  • Perform basic troubleshooting all equipment within the department
  • Adjust process parameters accordingly in reference to historical and current SPC data on the injection molding and on decontamination machines
  • Monitor and react to process changes on injection molding & decontamination equipment
  • Perform all PMs on all equipment within the department
  • Perform Mold Changes, color changes, material dosing quantities
  • Fill out proper documentation required to operate the injection molding & decontamination machines
  • Attend all mandatory meetings/training classes
  • Perform quality checks
  • Operating a forklift
  • Complete various Level training programs within a designated time frame
  • Communicate shift activities through email
  • Responsible for compliance with food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
  • Adhere to applicable prerequisite programs (PRP) per HACCP requirement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of Injection Molding Fundamentals
  • Knowledge of PET Drying Fundamentals
  • Knowledge of material conveying/storage equipment
  • Knowledge of packaging of Finished goods
  • Knowledge of Vision systems
  • Knowledge of Decontamination Fundamentals
  • Able to perform PMs
  • Able to perform mold changes
  • Able to present technical abilities
  • Able to present leadership abilities
