Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions has an excellent opportunity with great Avionics & Aerospace Machining Company in Santa Clarita, CA. We are seeking a Inside/Outside Sales Rep. to join their team. This is a full-time direct position with healthcare benefits. Apply Now!!!! Contact: sweslander@volt.com 

The base salary is $70K plus a Commission plan. Salary & Commissions will be discussed during the interview.  

8 scheduled hours a day, five days a week. May work over-time if scheduled.

Functions of the role;

  • Build and develop relationships with key personnel in target companies within an established Military and Aerospace market space.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with customers using phone, email and face-to-face customer visits.
  • Increase market share in the target markets with extreme focus on hunting and landing new business resulting in incremental growth.
  • Identify new product potential as well as modifications to existing products needed to maintain our competitive edge in the market space.
  • Travel to customer sites and trade shows as required.
  • Achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

 Minimum qualifications:

  • Proven sales success
  • Machined component experience is a requirement
  • Knowledge of metal deformation processes and metal finishing processes (to include anodizing, chem-film, passivation, plating, grinding, painting and powder coat, gundrilling, etc…)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Customer-focused with emphasis on providing outstanding customer service
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills—written and verbal
  • Well organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and to manage time effectively
  • Able to handle pressure without letting it detract from the quality of work
  • Dependable and able to follow processes
  • A flexible, pro-active, “can-do” attitude
  • Self-motivated, creative, and able to work with minimal supervision

Experience/Education:

  • 4-year Degree from an accredited school or equivalent experience
  • 3 years minimum experience selling machined components, assemblies, and/or engineered products
