Job Description

Instructional Designer

2-month temporary assignment 

M-F (Flexible schedule)

40 hours per week

Salary: DOE

Downtown, Portland

Key objective for the Role:

  • Convert technical documents, concepts and ideas into adult learning content to be used for training and development.  
  • Work with subject matter experts (SME's) to develop training materials and guides. 
  • Design assessments based on training material.

Position Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in instructional design
  • A minimum of one-year work experience developing and presenting adult learning material
  • Training and Development experience required
  • Strong customer service skills both written and verbal
  • Intermediate or Advanced MS Office required
  • Must pass pre-employment screenings: Drug Screen, Background Check and Education Verification.

Education:

Associate's degree required- Bachelor's degree preferred
