Job Description

Volt is currently seeking a highly qualified Integrated Planning & Scheduling Professional to assist one of our major customers in Tukwila, WA. Our client offers exciting job opportunities as one of the world's largest aerospace companies and by being a leading manufacturer of commercial jetliners and defense, space and security systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Prepares, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes and maintains, integrated plans and schedules for proposals, projects, programs and major initiatives at all levels across functional value streams to meet program and/or project objectives.
  • Tracks, plans, schedules and performs risk analysis for projects, programs and change activities throughout the lifecycle of a program.
  • Performs studies/analysis and planning efforts, within and/or across programs/projects, organizations or business units to determine impacts, constraints and plans involving product development, production rates, process improvement, or program initiatives.
  • Develops the Integrated Master Plan, Integrated Master Schedule and supporting elements, and drives program planning through the Enterprise Gated Process in support of Program requirements and objectives.
  • Performs integration of program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers and partners. Identifies, analyzes and reports schedule performance variances.
  • Performs schedule-related risk and opportunity analyses and provides potential solutions to management.
  • Works with customers to develop performance recovery plans and incorporates in relevant documentation where appropriate.
  • Performs schedule, event and change impact analysis.
  • Oversees implementation planning for change requirements and ensures commitment of stakeholders.
  • Develops and posts planning, scheduling and change related metrics/reports. Maintains disciplined revision control of all planning/schedule baselines.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience
  • Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
