Cloud Systems Engineer:

OUR CLIENT is in need of a passionate and skilled Cloud Systems Engineer to help us deliver to clients corporate IoT platform. We are seeking a talented ‘hands on’ engineer to join the growing Digital Services Transformation (DST) team in our Andover, MA office. As a member of the DST Systems team you will work closely with Development, DevOps, QA, and Cyber security teams. C#

The Cloud Systems Engineer will be responsible for verifying the successful integration and performance of our Microsoft Azure Cloud platform. This includes designing and developing integration tests for a distributed system, executing tests, trouble-shooting defects, and working with individual development teams to resolve issues. In addition, the Cloud Systems Engineer will develop and execute performance tests, track behavior over time to assess performance changes, and make recommendations for scaling to support production level activity. She/he will ensure best practices are followed while being responsive in a dynamic and iterative Agile development setting. C# System Engineer


• Design and develop integration and performance tests using C#/.NET framework

• Evaluate and recommend additional tools to increase productivity as necessary

• Perform full stack integration testing within our continuous integration/continuous deployment pipeline

• Execute performance tests and track results over time to identify improvements/degradations caused by code changes

• Work with individual development teams to resolve issues identified

• Execute scale tests to identify and recommend Azure infrastructure changes to support SLAs and production-level load

Qualifications/Skills Desired: System Engineer

• 5 years of experience in a software test or development role

• At least 2 years’ experience working with PaaS/IaaS frameworks (Windows Azure, Amazon EC2, etc.)

• At least 2 years’ experience with C#/.NET hands-on development

• Experience with Azure IaaS/PaaS (App Service, Worker Roles, Service Fabric, ServiceBus, Cloud Services, etc.) preferred

• Experience creating and analyzing load and performance tests desired

• Experience with Elasticsearch is a plus

• Experience with App Insights or any other APM is a plus

• Experience with PowerShell, Visual Studio a plus

• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills, both written and oral

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
