Volt is working with the leading standalone desktop database company, is searching for a integration engineer to integrate their product with other application and data sources. Our client is an established product line and large customer base. We are advancing, the existing technologies and developing new and exciting technologies and products.  This position is located in Santa Clara, CA. Job Description

This position integrates product with new products with the guidance of Product Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to requirements gathering, architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Work closely with both internal and external teams for integrating with external products and data sources

Education

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent. MSCS or Ph.D. is preferred

?Required Experience

  • Perform application design, integration, and implementation
  • Should possess good knowledge about application architectures and system topologies
  • Should have hands-on experience with developing connectors, adapters to integrate with 3rd party application and data sources
  • Work experience with 3rd party integration software like Zapier, Workato, Scribe, Boomi or IFTTT (either one is fine)
  • Should have through knowledge and hands on experience with REST API and WebServices
  • Should have experience with SAML, oAuth and Single Sign-on and MFA for authentication and authorization
  • Experience with Web-hook technology, Workflow  and through understanding about API gateway is a must
  • Should have knowledge about application deployments; on premises, cloud, SaaS
  • Hands-on experience with ESB, SOA and MQ is a big plus
  • Working knowledge on IoT (Internet of Things), BlockChain is a big plus
  • Should have the ability to work with external vendors closely to integrate the product
  • Interface with the user community to keep up with best practices in the industry
  • Write technical procedures and documentation for operations, test plans, disaster recovery plans, diagrams and flow charts
  •  

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge and work experience on Cloud technologies (AWS or Azure)
  • Strong experiences and knowledge in modern Internet/Web technology for client Applications development
