Volt has partnered with a leading company in Irvine to help identify an interim Inclusion, Diversity and Social Responsibility Manager for immediate hire.

In this role you would be responsible for managing the department, covering for a leave of absence which is expected to last now until mid April, possibly longer. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that the set of guiding diversity and corporate social responsibility principals are carried out as planned.

Specific duties:

  • Oversight of department operations – budgets, business plan activity's and team
  • Work with cross functional teams, including HR, Legal, Marketing to effectively incorporate Company and Inclusion & Diversity strategies into company operations
  • Track, analyze and communicate key success metrics including impact and trends
  • Create reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis as needed
  • Meeting with other department managers and supervisor as needed
  • Work to launch company foundation, work with consultants to set up foundation, roll-out plan and set up grant process
  • Oversight and implementation of new CSR software
  • Management of company sponsorship's
  • Oversight and management of cross functional sponsorship committee to review quarterly sponsorship requests
  • Create internal and external communication plans
  • Benchmark company CSR activities compared to industry standards
  • Implement, monitor and measure Inclusion and Diversity initiatives
  • Develop, manage and execute Inclusion and Diversity activities that align with Company strategies; diversity month celebrations and speakers series events
  • Design and launch Inclusion and Diversity initiatives focused on creating an inclusive and engaging environment that drives retention
  • Maintain and build relationships with internal and external partners that deliver impactful solutions and ideas


  • 7 – 10 years minimum overall work experience with a large corporation involved in making decision that impact the business, change management, etc.
  • 5+ years experience developing and implementing corporate social responsibility policies and initiatives ideally in a corporate environment, however 5+ years leading a nonprofit organization also would apply.
  • 3+ years experience working with inclusion and diversity policies and initiatives in a corporate environment.
  • Experience in people management.

This is a temporary position in nature to cover an LOA.  However, it offers a foot in the door of a top global organization. Pay is based on experience.
