Job Title: Internal Communications Manager

Location: The Woodlands, TX

Job Description

The Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for the development, execution and measurement of strategic communication plans for internal stakeholders that support and promote the objectives of the business and key executives. This includes the development and execution of internal and executive communications. In addition, the role is responsible for partnering with manager to craft the internal communications strategy of the business unit to promote the companies brand and motivate and connect employees with their mission, value and brand. They will also be responsible for creating and driving content for the company across the enterprise and leading content creation and messaging for key internal events (e.g. senior management meeting, town halls, etc.).

1. Support internal communications strategy with audience segmentation, planning, writing and execution, e.g. internal newsletter and presence on Intranet site. 30%
2. Support executive communications needs for internal audiences, including leadership content development, issues FAQs, event scripts and presentation coaching. 20%
3. Support general marketing communications needs for cross-segment needs. 15%
4. Organize, coordinate, track and communicate projects, timelines and approvals in conjunction with all necessary stakeholders including Legal, Corporate Communications Human Resources and Investor Relations, etc. 20%
5. Other duties as assigned. 15%

Required Business Experience:
5+ years of marketing, communications or related experience.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
• Excellent communications skills, written and verbal, for creating communications materials for both online and offline environments
• Executive presence and comfort coaching executives
• Knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, responsible, self-motivated/directed
• Ability to multi-task and self-manage changing priorities in a fast-paced marketing environment, constantly striving for excellence
• Ability to work with a variety of customers, varying in seniority and work experiences, including executives, designers, writers, legal, IR, production vendors, and other marketing professionals
• Experience providing design guidance/recommendations for presentations and other communication materials
• Advanced user in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Working Conditions:
Some travel may be required up to 20%

4-year degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, English, or relevant field.
