Job Description

Volt is excited to be hiring a Inventory Assistant for a global leader in in vitro diagnostics in the St. Louis area!

Mission / Purpose

Contribute to the department’s ability to support internal & external clinical trial activities involving new and existing products

Is responsible for inventorying, maintaining, storing and tracking  material and ancillaries used  by the internal CA laboratory in saint Louis for clinical trial purpose

Principal Contributions / Accountabilities and Associated Activities

Perform the inventory count of CA material (equipment & ancillaries)

Inspect items/material  in inventory  for defect, wear, damage or incomplete and report this information to CA Lab manager or designee

Record all material kept in the inventory and associated relevant information to ensure good quality, traceability  and material maintaining (accurate record of incoming & outgoing  material moving  and of stored items)

Make sure that inventory is well-organized & stocked on shelves in its proper destination in the warehouse

Scope and Resource Accountability

Act under the close supervision of a  CA Laboratory manager or designee

Is responsible for inventorying, maintaining, storing and tracking  equipment /material  for use by CA

Maintain good working relationships & communication  with co-workers  in the warehouse

Typical Experience, Skills and Qualifications

A min of High School Diploma required

Proven warehouse experience ideally

Ability to operate warehouse equipment, to lift or move heavy items

Clerical skills: experience with computers , knowledge in file and records keeping

Pay: $15.00 hourly

Location: Hazelwood

Hours: 8am-4:30pm

Duration: 6-8 weeks
