Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is currently searching for the right candidate for one of our major client’s in Bethlehem, PA as a Inventory Data Collection Specialist.

If you are driven, able to work long hours, dependable, hard-working, and have advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and are looking to join a team oriented environment, this position is for you!

Position:        Inventory Data Collection Specialist

Hours:            Monday to Friday 10 - 12 hours each day and Saturdays if needed.

Duration:       Temp to Perm

Pay Rate:       $16.50/hour

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Transferring of lines between facilities to properly execute orders - VORs, VINs, Stock Orders
  • Part Allocation Maintenance – As new parts come in, setting those primaries at the bins. As certain primaries age, deleting those, as well as min/max maintenance for the bins
  • Cycle Counts - putting together sheets for cycle counts, validating counts, uploading into Warp
  • Systematic Bin Maintenance - creating bins, auditing bins, blocking bins, deleting bins
  • QuickBase data mining - help leads/supervisors with data sets that can help diagnose root-causes to errors in shipments/receipts
  • Assisting collection of dimensions and weights for parts
  • Assisting with Batch Creation
  • Assisting with Batching of lines
  • Assisting analysts with data collection for projects/tasks
  • Other duties as assigned


JOB REQUIREMENTS:  

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Experience in material handling, inventory
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Computer Literacy
  • Ability to give/receive oral or written information clearly.
  • Ability to work with others to create and accomplish a common goal.
  • Ability to adjust rapidly and effectively to change and remain open to new ideas.
  • Responsibility/ownership: demonstrated willingness to take responsibility for resolving problems, personally championing new ideas or solutions to these problems.
