The Brewery Maintenance -Spare Parts Control provides planning, scheduling, staging and spare parts inventory organization for maintenance service and repair functions to facility and equipment. Plan for work to be done safely, following procedures and integrated with production reliably.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive integration of maintenance activities into our production environment. Including corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance actions in a way that optimizes production uptime and technician efficiency.
  • Utilize Service Now as a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to plan and document all pertinent maintenance activities. This includes estimating and tracking job durations and costs then adjusting future plans when required.
  • Ensure PM completion goals are achieved by creating and communicating the PM work strategy for the maintenance team.
  • Provide and implement ideas for Planning Scheduling process improvements.
  • Stay current on industry best practices in maintenance planning and implement into the team workflow.
  • Utilize an understanding of maintenance technology within the brewing / packing work environment, including safety procedures, equipment theory of operation, equipment lubrication, tooling and process workflow to communicate with internal and external technical resources.
  • Use the CMMS to produce and reference task schedules, knowledge documents, SOPs, job kitting documents, specialized tooling plans, etc.
  • Collect and publish information for department key performance indicators (KPI).
  • Provide input for spare parts inventory targets by anticipating planned maintenance.
  • Requisition parts and services as necessary to ensure availability in advance of jobs.
  • Parts room administration
  • Maintain an up to date working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, facilities, plumbing, gas, and wastewater systems to facilitate sound decision making.
  • Utilize proper technical terminology to communicate with technical team members in Maintenance, Engineering and WRO.
  • Participate in required safety training and comply with policies during daily operations. This includes operation of scissor / boom lift, fork truck, confined space entry, fall protection, and shop safety.
