Invoice & Billing Coordinator in Edison, NJ at Volt

Job Description

Our client located in Edison, NJ is seeking an Invoice / Billing Coordinator to assist the company’s growing Customer Service & Billing Department. This is a first shift role, 8am-5pm, offering $16-$18/hr.

This is a temp to hire opportunity and candidates to consider will have experience working in a warehouse / office environment as well as experience working in a very fast paced environment. 

Pay rate: 
 $16.00-$ 18.00/hr  depending on experience and for the right candidate
 

About the job:

• Invoice Clients
• Distribute client invoices on invoicing related issues
• Data Entry / Filing / Customer Service (will be on the phones speaking to clients)
• Providing excellent customer service
• Responding to all inquiries in a timely manner
• Generating all required export documentation, i.e.: airway bills, bill of lading,  invoices, packing lists
• Contacting customers with exceptions to advise shipment status or to obtain shipment information in a professional manner
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1+ year experience
• Pro-active, detail oriented, and able to multi-task
• Must possess a sense of urgency and dedication to meet all deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced deadline driven environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Work hours & Environment
Normal working hours for this position are Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, however, overtime may often be required.
