Volt is looking for a Invoice Specialist in Duluth GA.


  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent –
  • College degree or equivalent work experience preferred –
  • Minimum 1 year of business experience preferred –
  • Strong communication skills, ability to listen attentively and expresses ideas clearly and concisely - Excellent customer service skills –
  • PC experience and aptitude –
  • Proficiency with office computer applications and business systems –
  • Ability to work independently –
  • Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level. –
  • Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend and apply complex material, data and instruction – prepare, provide and convey diversified information. –
  • Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically with less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files and small parts, etc.). –
  • Moderate dexterity – regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination.


  • Responsible for accurate and timely customer invoicing utilizing knowledge of company products, processes and internal resources.
  • Ensures appropriate customer requirements are understood and incorporated into each invoice. Provides a high level of customer service to internal and external customers by demonstrating prompt and thorough attention to issues and requests.
  • Interacts with other members of the Organization, as required, in support of the customers and Company.
  • Acts as liaison with customer and participates in cross-functional activities to support invoice production and distribution –
  • Identifies unusual trends/patterns and communicates these to Supervisor and/or Manager –
  • Educates cross-functional users on invoicing data quality requirements –
  • Responsible for invoicing in a timely manner in accordance with customer requirements and department goals. –
  • Performs quality control checks to verify accuracy of invoices prior to customer presentment –
  • Ensures invoices are progressed internally, in a timely manner –
  • Reconciles invoices in accordance with company policy and resolves variances prior to customer presentment –
  • Distributes invoices as appropriate, by mail, email, web and other electronic methods –
  • Uses manual data entry and/or automated programs to submit invoices in customer and third-party procurement sites. –
  • Responds to requests for invoice copies when appropriately assisting internal and external customers Ensures resolution of issues related to day-to-day invoice processing –
  • Update documented customer requirements and process changes –
  • Completes special projects as assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager -
