Volt has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are seeking an IT Data Analyst to work onsite at our client’s facility in East Moline, IL. This is a contingent position expected to last 2+ years.   

Must be available to work W2 for Volt, No C2C or 3rd party vendors.

Job Description:

Works closely with the business and other Information Technology (IT) teams focusing on the processes of gathering, analyzing and documenting information requirements from tickets received from application owners.

Duties:

  • Database knowledge in the following Platforms (DB2/Z, Oracle, and PostgreSQL)
  • Excellent verbal / written communication skills are important as this position will work closely with Application owners to provide the correct information in the requested ticket so Senior DBA’s can implement requested changes
  • Require knowledge to modifying the database structure, as necessary, from information given by application developers, optimizing the performance of the database, troubleshooting application issues (database), generating various reports by querying from database as per need and acting as liaison with users submitting ticket requests.

  • Database security concepts
  • Database recovery
  • Database maintenance
  • Database change deployment
  • Help users with Database related questions
