We are seeking a few IT Helpdesk Technicians to handle general duties at a local client here in Spokane.

This is a contract to hire Helpdesk Technician role in Spokane, WA and offered through Volt Workforce Solutions.  

The Helpdesk Technician will provide customer service and technical support over the phone to customers to help the customer to overcome issues related to Point-of-Sale or IT Equipment.  Daily, they will guide customers through troubleshooting and self-help methods with the aid of resources and documentation.  May also monitor, document, and follow-up on these processes to ensure that customers are satisfied.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1 hardware and software technical support for a variety of platforms for multiple retail and hospitality customers.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining call logs in Salesforce Service Cloud
  • Handle Internal and/or 3rd Party Orders and Escalations to Customer or vendors
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
  • Escalate technical issues requiring higher levels of support to Customer Support Analyst II

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of customer service, call center and/or technical support experience
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems to resolution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using Point of Sale (POS) systems in either a retail or hospitality environment a plus 
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM preferred not required 
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and availability to work in a 24/7/365 work environment
  • Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
