IT Security Lead Direct Hire Opportunity!

The IT Security Lead is a critical role in our IT organization. We need someone who is motivated to make this enterprise organization the ultimate in security defenses.

We are looking for an individual who has the technical skills and intellectual capability to lead through this change and has the drive and desire to grow with a business. Critical for success is the ability to oversee the systems, network, and all other aspects of security on an enterprise scale. 

What Will You Be Doing?

  1. You will be crucial to the Strategic Planning & Advising.
  2. Lead implementation of various security frameworks including ISO27001 and NIST800-53, 171.
  3. Serve as lead solutions advisor on security technology prioritization as well as future utilization of security technology and process improvements.
  4. Lead product evaluations for network security products and recommends and implements products/services.
  5. Serve in lead technical role providing direction and guidance for emergency response to network and computer incidents.
  6. Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to the IT Security Team.

What Do You Need to Be Successful?

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a security role in a SOC or similar operating environment; complexity, size and scope; (large enterprise environments). Along with the same amount of experience with security frameworks including ISO, NIST, or CIS required.
  2. High proficiency with information security products such as antivirus, antispyware, HIPS, DLP, IPS, EDR, HFNetchk, URLScan, Nessus, NMAP, Snort, IPSec, IDS, etc.
  3. Experience with various flavors of Windows, Linux, ethical hacking and vulnerability scanning, cryptography, databases, application servers, HTTP servers and other networking services.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to absorb and present large amounts of detail through various forms of communications to any level of business users, IT management, or technical role.
  5. Other proficiencies we will discuss.
  6. A Bachelors degree and certifications are preferred.
