Job Description

VOLT is seeking an IT Service Technician for our client in downtown Seattle who is an IT expert and provide highest level of technical and customer support to their internal customers. You will be the single point of IT support onsite.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems with the staff's personal computers, office equipment, other peripherals (Tablets, Cellphones) used in the day-to-day operation of our studios
  • Maintain the highest levels of professionalism and demonstrate consistent and excellent customer service
  • Perform on-site installations, upgrades, and repairs of both PC and Mac end user platforms
  • Contribute to the establishments and continued use of IT best practices
  • Manage the IT part of the hiring, on-boarding and termination process
  • Maintain documentation of new hires, terminations and server maintenance
  • Evaluate new applications and technologies for our It services
  • Participate in quarterly and annual compliance audit
  • Manage AD/ VPN account reset, lock-out assistance and verification 
  • Video conferencing and telephony support 

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience
  • Min of 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong experience with Mac and Windows OS, Windows Server, Backup Software troubleshooting, installation, and imaging
  • Deep understanding of Active Directory, LDAP, Security, Server administration as it relates to user provisioning, identity and access, group maintenance, group policy administration, etc.
  • Tenacious technical troubleshooting skills and ability to reproduce customer environments
  • Application support experience with McAfee AV ePO, Microsoft WSUS, JAMF and Slack
  • Foundational knowledge of network concepts, protocol, wireless and troubleshooting, including deep understanding of client wireless environments
  • Knowledge of Mobile devices and applications
  • Working knowledge of Linux systems (CentOS)
  • Familiarity with Google G Suite - email, calendar, doc etc
  • Experience with Windows server management, patch upgrades, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work independently
