Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking an IT Support Technician for a client located in Denver, CO. This is a 6 months contingent role. We are among the largest IT recruitment firms in the US for contingent/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top-rated IT companies in the Pacific Northwest.

The It Support Technician role is a part of the team accountable and responsible for the operations of client’s software and technology devices.  Ensures IT issues and requests are addressed, resolved, escalated, communicated and tracked while focusing on extraordinary customer service.


  • Respond to incoming requests (e.g., escalations, e-mails, dashboard alerts, chat, phone, or in person) and accurately identify, diagnose, prioritize, resolve the tickets within established SLA standards.  Enter/update technical problems, causes, and solutions within the ITSM software.
  • Perform life-cycle management of IT assets, including workstations, peripherals, software installs, and configurations.
  • Assist with OS and other software installs and upgrades network troubleshooting of wired and wireless connections Application Support (Office 365, production software, internally developed applications)
  • Support of video conferencing and audio-visual equipment Printer/MFP setup and troubleshooting Create and maintain documentation for all standard Technical Support policies, procedures, and practices. 
  • Develop how-to documentation, training material and FAQ lists for client’s team members (end users).
  • Support help-desk and others in IT with troubleshooting issues that arise and serving as an escalation point for complex issues. Support identified projects.  May lead basic technology related projects.  Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Support Asset Management process by tracking and recording asset status as required; including tracking of equipment replacements and validating current state of assets via organizational asset intelligence tools.
  • Other activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee may be assigned.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or similar discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in Information Technology with at least three years’ experience in Service Management or End User Computing Experience supporting Windows 7 and Windows 10 Operating Systems and the O365 suite Working knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Exhibit strong work ethic and responsible behavior and must maintain the confidentiality of information at all times. 

Preferred Education, Experience, Skills:

  • Experience with InTune, SCCM, Active Directory, ITSM tools, network technologies
  • Experience in a food manufacturing industry Knowledge of emerging software and hardware technologies Experience support onsite and remote end users
