I am currently staffing for a company that is seeking to bring on a few candidates for a Sunday cleaning position beginning 5/24/2020. Please read through the below information. Job Description: CER Janitor – Controlled Environment Rooms / Position will start as a part-time, temporary role, one day a week for approximately four weekends. The ideal candidate could move into a full-time position in 4-6 weeks or stay as a part time weekend worker. 

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Shift: Sunday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Building will be occupied 24 hours daily by customer employees and security personnel.

This position required each employee to have basic English reading and writing skills for documenting task completions daily. Responsibilities will include daily completion of work log indicating assigned tasks were completed according the frequencies described in the cleaning schedule. Employees will be required to wear smocks and gloves to be provided by the customer.

This is a hospital level clean environment for a medical device manufacturer. The CER (Controlled Environment Room) requires daily documentation of tasks performed by the cleaning staff. Cleaning staff performs routine wiping of surfaces excluding assembly work surfaces and equipment associated with the manufacturing process. Janitorial staff shall only be responsible for ceilings, floors, doors, windows, walls and other surfaces not involved with the customers work surfaces or equipment. Periodic wiping of walls is done with reach tools up to a 9-foot ceiling. Janitors shall only use reach tools and will not be required to use ladders to perform the assigned cleaning tasksAll work will be performed from the floor level.

NOTE: There are NO biologic materials present. This is a simple process of continuous disinfecting of surfaces in the controlled manufacturing room. Cleaning products are provided by the client along with all SDS information.

Additional duties can include the following:

1. Wiping down with anti-microbial cleaner of work bench legs, door/window frames, doorknobs.
2. Wiping down doors and floors in gowning and transfer rooms.
3. Twice per shift peeling off and removing soiled tacky mats from lab floor entrances.
4. Maintaining stock of gloves in gown rooms used by the customers employees.
5. Damp mopping of floors with approved disinfectant.
