Account Sales Manager - Everett, WA

***MUST HAVE AEROSPACE OEM SALES EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED***

As our Key Account Sales Manager, and leader for a team of 3, you will work closely with the Business Unit Managers, other Sales and Business Development team members, and your counterparts in Contracts, Product Management, Programs, Finance, Engineering, Quality, Commercial Services, and Customer Support.  You will be responsible for developing relationships and growing the business with Airframers/OEM and Tier 1 integrators. You will own the elaboration and execution of the Key Account Strategy and Plan with the objective to grow the accounts’ top and bottom line.  You will make sure that the target bookings are met in each plan budget period.  Liaise with the customer and support/facilitate to make sure we have clear and timely communication.

  • Lead and Guide the company’s relationship development with assigned Airframer/OEM and Tier 1 integrators
  • Develop, elaborate and lead the ongoing execution of the Strategic Account Plan including relationship matrix and long-term account growth plan for assigned accounts
  • Develop the customer strategy to win profitable new business and to improve the company position on existing contracts
  • Develop the annual sales forecast plan for the assigned accounts
  • Achieve and exceed your assigned account/territory bookings
  • Direct and support the sales representatives covering your assigned accounts /territory
  • Carry and represent the voice of the customer back into the product and strategy organizations for recommendations on changes, improvements and modifications to products and technology.  Suggest ideas for product evolution, new product derivatives and product variants
  • Provide market intelligence on an ongoing basis
  • Submit business reporting on time – booking forecasts, highlights, business opportunities funnel, and next month quarter/year plan

 What You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or engineering
  • 5+ years of experience closing complex key accounts with large aerospace and defense airframers/OEM and Tier 1 integrators, preferably selling electro-mechanical components and systems
  • Familiarity with Avionics or Crew Station Human Machine Interface equipment and components is a huge plus
  • Proven success in sales/rep management and strong coaching skills
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to build lasting customer relationships
  • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Persuasiveness, adaptability, innovation, excellent judgement and decision-making skills
  • Excellent skill with MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT and SharePoint
  • Ability to travel 50% (or occasionally more) of the time
  • You must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
