Job Description

Volt is currently hiring for a contract to hire Lead Quality Assurance Engineer for our client located in Portsmouth, NH. This role will be responsible for both the development and execution of test plans for eCommerce sites as well as writing/maintaining scripts for our automated testing framework.

Core Responsibilities

Develop and refine test plans for execution against client ecommerce sites

Hands on execution of test plans and running test automation tools

Development and expansion of automated test framework to expand covered use cases

Lead other QA team members and contractors in the execution of test plans

Work with development to analyze requirements and design test cases to cover custom functionality

Assist in implementing software and tools for use by multiple parallel quality projects

Provide subject matter expertise and best practices

Work closely with cross-functional organizations, project teams, and clients to develop project schedules, create/execute test plans and cases, and deliver high-quality products

Act as a strong advocate for quality in the product development process for software engineering

Other duties as assigned

Skill Requirements

4+ years of Quality Assurance experience in web/software/ecommerce environment

2+ years of Automation experience including Framework development

Experience working with diverse teams (e.g., designers, developers, project managers, offshore resources)

Previous experience working at a brand/retailer using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly called Demandware) for ecommerce

Capable of adapting to a rapidly evolving environment

Strong project management, interpersonal communication, and collaboration skills

Proven track record of delivering high-quality products

Expert at QA methodologies, tools, and approaches

Extensive experience with across multiple platforms, browsers, and devices

Experience with component, system, regression, performance, and load testing

Experience writing, maintaining and owning test plans during projects with evolving requirements

Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket and Bamboo)

Website automation skills with Selenium, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, web frameworks, etc.

Knowledge of enterprise application stacks and technologies (ERP, MRP, Finance, OMS) and related issues (scalability, security)

Experience in a web consulting environment preferred

BS in Computer Science or equivalent
