Job Description

Volt is hiring an Onsite Supervisor for our client, a global leader in office automation and onsite services, for an onsite location in Seattle, WA. The Onsite Supervisor will be responsible for site operations and up to seven people. This is a long-term position with the possibility to convert to the client's staff based on performance and attendance. The environment is in a legal office and previous experience working in the legal field is strongly preferred.

Schedule: Regular business hours, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime and possible weekends depending on project deadlines.

Duties and Job Description:

The Onsite Supervisor directs the day-to-day activities of the site employees. May run shifts solo periodically depending on need. The OS is the point of contact for customer interaction, service, and SLA compliance. Primary site responsibilities:

  • Handle Managed Services for client at site
  • Document production – meet deadlines and assess incoming jobs; set realistic expectations and arrange jobs to meet client needs
  • Train personnel on machine operation and workflow
  • Review employee time cards for accuracy
  • Track site expenses and assess shift efficiency to ensure profitability
  • Review performance and coach staff to achieve established metrics
  • Resolve any issues including but not limited to production deadlines and pricing
  • Produce reports for site in a timely manner
  • Manage P&L for site
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications for the Onsite Supervisor Role:

  • Must have a High School diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience in a related field; experience in the legal field is highly preferred but not required
  • Experience working with advanced document production machines
  • Prior experience training personnel in operating document production machines
  • Supervisory experience including setting defined, measurable goals
  • Good personal and team organizational skills
