Licensing Representative- Downtown, St. Paul 

Volt Workforce Solutions has partnered with a large, well reputable Financial company who is seeking a Licensing Representative. 

If you have licensing knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under strict deadlines- please see below. 

Job Duties (not limited to):

Ensure all initial and renewal appointments are processed in accordance with state and Company rules and regulations.

  • Prepare and submit applications and fees to state insurance departments via online vendor.
  • Review to make sure reps are properly licensed before submitting appointments to states.
  • Maintain computer records and appropriately charges agencies/agents for appointment fees.

Process all contracts and paperwork.

  • Ensure all selected candidates are appropriately licensed and create agent records in Central Licensing System.
  • Obtain legal documents and signatures to ensure contracts are legally binding.
  • Work closely with Firm, Broker General Agency’s, and other field office staff to answer questions related to onboarding and be utilized as a resource for licensing and appointment rules.

Pay: $17-$18.50/hour

Contract: 8/20/2018-06/30/2019

Hours: M-F 8:00am-4:45pm

Requirements: 

  • Knowledge of licensing procedures and corporate licensing requirements in each state.
  • Working knowledge of products offered by our various divisions and state/federal licensing requirements for each.
  • Knowledge of Appointment and Licensing System in order to update and maintain records.
  • Familiarity with external broker/dealers who collaborate with our company and their compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with to ensure a legally binding relationship between client and company.
  • Communication skills to provide the best service to Home Office staff, Field Force and Outside Brokers.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills to review paperwork for completeness and accuracy as well as identify potential areas of concern.
  • Attention to detail for all aspects of licensing and appointments.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
