Volt Workforce Solutions is currently seeking for a Logistic Planner for a Data Center in Reno, Nevada with a proficient level of data center knowledge, material management, product disposition, recycling and eWaste disposal.
Logistic Planner: BASIC FUNCTION
This role will focus on queue management, responsible for the entire life cycle of the product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, and final disposal of resources and products. The role is also responsible for the repositioning of stock assets across the fleet in support of BreakFix support stock models.
Requirements:
- Experience in data center material disposition, asset management, and supply chain concepts
- Great communication and team player
- Exceptional ability to develop productive relationships
- Demonstrated ability to manage numerous tasks in a fast pace environment
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to adapt guidance to meet Data Center objectives
- Highly motivated self-starter that is able to work independently and meet assigned deadlines
- Minimum of 2+ years of material management experience

Responsibilities:
- Working in a high stress, fast paced environment with shifting priorities
- Execute the re-use, re-sale, recycling, and disposal of hardware and media in accordance with the client’s objective and security requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments as necessary to meet customer requirements
- Report project plans, metrics, and progress for material end-of-life activities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of procedures required for proper disposition of client’s assets
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
