Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is currently searching for a Logistics Coordinator for our client in Wilmington, DE.

Hours:            Monday – Friday      7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Duration:        12 months

Pay Rate:       $ 15.50 hour

In order to improve the efficiency of our refurbishment operation, we are looking for an individual who can define, create, implement, and sustain several key operational material coordination functions. They may include, but are not limited to:

  • Receiving, unpacking, storing, and distributing repair parts while maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to all financial compliance requirements
  • Assembling and staging repair part kits for our refurbishment team
  • Pulling and staging un-refurbished units based on order demand for our refurbishment team
  • Performing recycling and separation of discarded used assemblies for disposal
  • Coordinating and ordering replenishment quantities of repair parts for the Little Falls and our US contract manufacturer
  • Supporting the strategic activities to integrate the PLRB refurb bench into SAP ECC

A successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, willingness to take risks, and creativity in the daily routine.

Minimum Requirements:  

  1. Ability to bag or package small parts: high level of manual dexterity
  2. Communication skills: demonstrated ability to give/receive oral or written information clearly
  3. Teamwork: demonstrated ability to work with others to create and accomplish a common goal
  4. Flexibility: demonstrated ability to adjust rapidly and effectively to change and remain open to new ideas
  5. Quality system orientation: demonstrated use of tools, methods and processes to ensure that own/others’ work meet quality standards
  6. Responsibility/ownership: demonstrated willingness to take responsibility for resolving problems, personally championing new ideas or solutions to these problems
  7. General computer literacy: effective use of computer applications to perform work or testing
  8. No known allergies to industrial chemicals used in the work area; may be required to participate in medical training/screening or monitoring programs.
  9. Ability to routinely lift 35 pounds
  10. Demonstrated ability to bend, reach, stoop, and remain standing for extended periods of time (Up to 4-6 hours per day)

Steel Toes are required.
