Job Summary

Responsible for tactical execution and coordination of Data Center Material End-of-Life programs.  This position requires data center asset and media management experience. Coordination will be required with Business Groups, Hardware Engineering, Vendors, as well as, with Data Center Deployments, BreakFix and Logistics functions to execute a standardized EOL strategy.

This role will focus on queue management, ticket flow and coordination with tactical teams across data security, media re-use, asset re-sale, recycling, and responsible eWaste disposal.  The role is also responsible for the repositioning of stock assets across the fleet in support of BreakFix support stock models.

    As a Material Analyst you'll be working in a fast-paced, and often ambiguous environment with multiple cross functional teams.  

    Key responsibilities include, but, not limited to: 

  • Execute the re-use, re-sale, recycling, and disposal of hardware and media in accordance with objectives and Information Security requirements
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of procedures required for proper disposition of assets 
  • Coordinate with Business Groups, HW Engineering, and IS Worldwide Logistics for material end-of-life signaling and execution of programs
  • Coordinate with Infrastructure Software Development (ISD) for reporting of metrics and KPIs for all material end-of-life activities

  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
