Job Description

Position Overview

•         The primary function of this position is to place outbound calls to existing Microsoft 365 customers in order to promote adoption & deployment of the following products: Teams, OneDrive & Exchange. Additionally, the Microsoft Support Technician will take inbound phone calls from end users with inquiries around product functionality. 

•         Essential Job Functions: 

•         Support of Microsoft Cloud products with an emphasis on OneDrive, Teams & Exchange 

•         Place outbound calls to IT leaders and other designated points of contact at preselected businesses in order to promote use of Microsoft Cloud products. 

•         Gain customer agreement regarding participation in a program designed to assist them with deployment and adoption of Microsoft Cloud Products 

•         Answer inbound phone calls from end user customers with questions regarding the projects targeted within this project 

•         Coordinate meetings with customer & Microsoft resources as needed in order to facilitate participation in the adoption program 

•         Ability to send business professional emails, coordinate meetings & effectively facilitate meetings with multiple stakeholders 

Qualifications and Requirements

•         5-7 years of experience supporting Microsoft Cloud products 

•         A bachelors degree in a technology related field or equivalent experience 

•         Microsoft Certifications desired inclusive of the MTA (Microsoft Technology Associate)


•         Foundation knowledge of current Microsoft product offerings 

•         Specific knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive & Exchange 

•         Familiarity with Project Management and/or Sales Engineering processes 

•         Traditional Microsoft offerings such as Office, Exchange, etc.

•         Time-management, proactive, self-starting with demonstrated ability to follow-through 

•         Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical individual  Strong desire to learn and succeed in a fast paced environment 

•         Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills 

•         Professional demeanor, writing, interpersonal and team communication
