Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions in partnership with the Hain Celestial Group is seeking Machine Operators for Rudi's Organic Bakery in Boulder, CO.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with excellent benefits! Rudi's is accessible by bus and is on the Boulder Transit bus route. 

Starting pay: $12.50/hour

Shifts Available:

Mixer Operator - $13.00/hour - 3:50AM - 2:30PM (10 hours OT weekly until August 10th)

Oven Assistant Operator- $12.50/hour - 3:50AM - 2:30PM (10 hours OT weekly until August 10th)

Bonus Structure:

$150.00 bonus after 4 weeks with perfect attendance!

$150.00 bonus after permanent hire!


Employees work near the ovens and must be comfortable with repeated lifting, and working in a hot environment.

Job duties: Mixing Operator:

Loading ingredients into mixer - this requires lifting 60 lbs to shoulder height

Changing doughs in mixer - scraping out inside of mixing bowl with a paddle. This requires exerting 50 lbs of force up to three times hourly, and reaching to a height of approximately 5 feet, 8inches

Starting/stopping mixing machinery

Cleaning mixing machinery, maintaining a clean workspace

Job Duties: Oven Operator Assistant:

Bringing trays of doughs to ovens - this requires pushing/puling racks across the warehouse

Loading trays of doughs into ovens - this requires repeated lifting, bending at the waist

Unloading trays of doughs from ovens - this requires repeated heavy lifting, bending at the waist

Candidate qualifications:

Food production or other related experience is required for these positions
Must be able to attend all shifts and successfully complete all job duties
Must be willing to work around language barriers and communicate with all employees
Must be safety and hygiene conscious
Must be willing to follow dress code and food safety requirements
English/Spanish bilingual preferred

Dress code:
Steel toed shoes, plain long pants, plain long sleeve shirt, hair net, and beard net (as required)
Employees may not wear:
fake nails, nail polish, fake eyelashes, clothing with decorations such as sequins, rhinestones, patches, or decals, and jewelry or accessories of any kind. This includes piercing jewelry, wedding rings, bracelets, necklaces, hair accessories, decorations on shoes, and chains on pants.
