***Machine Operator – Medical Electronics***

***$17.00-22.00/hour – 6 months with high possibility of permanent hire***

***Day, Swing, and graveyard shifts available. Shift differentials for later shifts***

Volt is hiring for our client, a medical electronics company, in Lake Oswego, OR.  Are you a hardworking, go-getter with great communication and teamwork? Do you have a high level of technical aptitude? Shift flexibility is ideal; swing and graveyard positions available, shift differentials applied.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Set up and operate automated equipment and manual assembly equipment
  • Work independently, troubleshoot and solve problems with limited direction
  • Quickly and efficiently set up workstations and prep multiple assembly lines for next shop order
  • Responsible for routine maintenance and monitoring performance of tools and systems
  • Work under minimal direction and exercise judgment. Make routine recommendations to resolve technical issues
  • Provide written and verbal summaries of process, design, and component issues encountered during assembly

Production Specialist Qualifications:

  • Previous circuit board assembly, inspection and soldering experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience with circuit board assembly, inspection, Bills Of Materials (BOM), Electrical Schematics, manual soldering
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work in a clean room environment for entirety of 10 hour shift
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds required
  • Positions requires pre-employment screenings


  • Associates Degree preferred
