Job Description

Manufacturer has multiple openings for Machine Operators in their Ringoes, NJ facility. Positions are for the 2nd shift as well as temp to hire for the right candidates!
Hours will be Monday to Friday from 3PM-11:30PM
Overtime is also available.
Positions are Contract-to-Hire for the right candidates!
For this role training will on first shift and then after three to six months the position moves to a permanent night shift.

About the Client:

  • Supplier of highly engineered springs, specialty fasteners, machined parts and other precision components.
  • Provide solutions to a wide range of markets including: Aerospace, Agriculture/Construction, Automotive, Consumer Products & Tools, Energy/Gas/Oil, Heavy Truck, Industrial, Medical, Military, Motorsports/Recreation, Spring Energized Seals, Transit, and Valves.

About the Job:
The Machine Operator will set up and operate and cross train in various machines within the facility.

Essential Job Functions

  • Read and interpret blueprints as needed.
  • Properly and safely load and unload machine.
  • Understand, interpret and program when needed.
  • Recognize, deploy and properly use fixtures and tooling.
  • Can modify work blades and work rests & dress wheels as needed.
  • Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance task on machine.
  • Verify Dimension for conformance using micrometers, calipers & ring gages.

Skills needed to perform the job:

  • At least 6 months or more years experience working as Machine Operator or working in manufacturing environments
  • Effective communication and understanding of job instructions both verbally and written.
  • Nice to have: Problem solving skills needed to know why machines are not at peak performance, how to increase output and how to fix errors.
  • Attention to detail with precision equipment and product.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations. 
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Pay Rate:
$14.00-$16.00 DOE
