We are currently staffing for a Healthcare Company that manufactures gels, creams, lotions, liquids, and powders. We are currently seeking Operators to run the Filling Machines. 

Duties of an Operator (Filling Machines)

  • Efficient and timely execution of the daily packaging schedule.
  • Effective use of raw materials and packaging materials.
  • Has responsibility directly and through subordinates for the filling of product to meet specifications and the effective cleaning, sanitation and minor repairs of filling equipment.
  • Prepares quality documentation necessary to maintain compliance with cGMPs, company Quality System and ISO 13485 guidelines.
  • Clean and service equipment (e.g. bottle fillers, case packers, labeling machine etc.)
  • Conduct equipment changeovers to accommodate production demands
  • Conduct quality inspections on processes, raw materials, and finished products
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment problems and make basic repairs
  • Stage raw materials at work stations
  • Adhere to good housekeeping standards at work stations, keeping your station clean and organized
  • Work with team members to make and safety improvements
  • Solve problems to improve the process to improve quality.
  • Use good time management; performs work in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Be supportive of all plant OSHA regulations while using the prescribed personal protective gear including gloves, mask, gown, etc. as required by the materials handled and plant policy.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with filling equipment and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Work cooperatively with fellow employees, supervisory and management personnel.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Good personal hygiene is a requirement.
  • Mechanical aptitude is highly advantageous for more complex machines.
  • Communicate in a courteous manner to everyone

Salary: $16.00 to $18.00/HR. DOE 

Hours:  Monday - Friday, 2:30 P.M to 11:00 P.M
