Maint. Facilities Technician - Level 2 in Sparks, NV at Volt

Volt Workforce Solutions is currently seeking for a maintenance facility technician at a Data Center in Sparks, NV. Qualified candidates must have at least 2+ years of maintenance experience, plumbing, and electrical knowledge. Skills in HVAC are a plus.

Maintenance Facility Technician Summary: BASIC FUNCTION

Responsible for the operational integrity and regulatory compliance of the data center. Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on building systems, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

• Responsibilities as a Facility Technician:
  • General warehouse duties 
  • Perform corrective repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol
  • Coordinates with other critical facilities professionals to perform corrective repairs
  • Maintain appropriate records and reports using computer programs

• Requirement for a Maintenance Facility Technician:
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer skills
  • Great coordination and detail oriented 
  • Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician
  • Consent to a background check and drug testing
  • Able to stand, stoop, bent and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be comfortable working in a high stress, fast paced environment
