Job Description

Direct Hire for Maintenance Manager In North Houston.   

Range $85-95K with Great Benefits. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct and oversee all facility and equipment maintenance activities including equipment installation, equipment repair and preventative maintenance. 
  • Oversee work order program and assign projects to maintenance personnel or outside contractors as appropriate to ensure continuous operation of the facility. 
  • Manage and maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate ordering of all equipment parts and supplies as needed. 
  • Plan, direct and oversee preventative maintenance programs for all facility equipment. 
  • Supervise and direct maintenance personnel including preparing work schedules, ensuring quality of work and evaluating performance. 
  • Coordinate with Production, Operations and other departments to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment. 
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all service to equipment, repair orders and maintenance purchases. 
  • Assists with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, Company policies and all other regulatory requirements. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other relevant field preferred.   
  • 8+ years’ of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the consumer goods industry.  
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience required. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical, electrical, electronic, plumbing, hydraulic, HVAC systems and PLC troubleshooting. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
