Job Description

Volt Workforce solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Facilities Manager to direct and coordinate activities of  rapidly growing consumer cosmetic manufacturer in Valencia! As the Facilities Manager you will manage all appropriate skilled labor, such as electricians, plumbers and any other contractors needed. Along with managing all Facilities Maintenance issues and maintaining repair logs of equipment and site support.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the building is up to State and Federal compliance and codes
  • Analyzes department budget requests and allocates operating budget.
  • Manage a team custodial staff - including any/all vendors
  • Responsible for scheduling preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs to facilities and equipment
  • Keep strong documented records, and logs
  • Investigate and resolve issues
  • Ensure all work order and repair requests are processed and completed in a timely fashion
  • Performs rigging work including installation of new equipment and relocation of existing equipment (set-up and adjustments)
  • Completes carpentry and masonry tasks as required. 
  • Maintains compliance with GMP, OSHA, plant, and departmental procedures and guidelines. 
  • Ensure level of housekeeping/sanitation which meets Company's standards and guidelines.
  • Experience with production schedules and when equipment is not scheduled for manufacturing, changes over equipment to new sizes or performs scheduled maintenance.
  • Use maintenance software for all work orders and preventative maintenance

Qualifications:

  • Recent 5 years Previous experience in Facilities Management
  • High School Diploma
  • Computer skills (Auto CAD, Inventory, Order processing, Excel
  • Experience using handle tools to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and be a proven leader
