This is a 24/7 facility. This would be a 5,2,2,5 schedule, you would work a combination of day and nights on a 5,2,2,5 rotation. They do this so that the team all share an equal amount of days and weekends off for family time.
 
Pay: $24-$27 Hourly, DOE
 
Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: The Port of Stockton, California
 
Purpose: To provide maintenance to the facility and all process equipment to ensure continued ethanol production.

The following is a list of major duties and responsibilities for this position along with certain supportive duties. It is not all-inclusive. Other duties and responsibilities may be added as needed and in addition; and, management may modify this job description as needed.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Analyzes mechanical, electrical and operational problems on plant equipment and plans for and takes preventative and/or corrective action.
2. Makes preventive maintenance checks and inspections of assigned equipment, reports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action.
3. Willingness to learn the production process to help support operational needs.
4. Must be able to work shift as business needs dictate.
