Job Description

VOLT Workforce Solutions is NOW HIRING a Maintenance Technician for a chemical manufacturer on the west side of Indianapolis, IN.

Hours: 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm; M-F)

As a Maintenance Technician you will: 

• Execute required maintenance tasks throughout the site including equipment and general facility projects.
• Maintain/repair pumps, valves, piping, filters, chemical addition equipment, mixers, controls, and electrical systems as directed.
• Work on palletizer, bagging machines, air compressors, air dryers, boiler, steam generators, tanks.
• Operate a forklift with attachments, pallet jacks, all types of lifts.
• Set-up and maintain maintenance records.
• Maintain inventory levels; purchase parts as needed. 
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respirator. 
• May be asked to participate in a confined space entry (wear harness, climb through manway, etc.).
• Required to work in elevated areas.
