Our customer is an ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) facility.

Title:           Maintenance Technician

Location:    Hatfield, PA 19440

Duration:    Temporary to Permanent

Shift:           6:30 am – 3:00 pm    |    Mon. - Fri.

Pay rate:    $ 17.00 - 17.50 hr

Job Summary:  Maintain production equipment to include robotic, pneumatics and electro-mechanical systems. Initially the position is 60% building maintenance and 40% preventive maintenance/trouble shooting production equipment issues.

The responsibilities of this position are subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) Export Control Laws.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Setting up and repairing semi-automated equipment
  • Troubleshoot production equipment and tooling issues
  • Good safety knowledge
  • Update and maintain maintenance records
  • Work in a team environment

Education &Experience:

  •  High school diploma or GED
  •  2-3 years experience maintaining production equipment
  •  Proficient with hand tools, multi-meter and measuring equipment
  •  Good communication skills including listening, verbal and written
  •  Good Microsoft Office skills (excel)

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to stand for 8 hours, bend, twist, reach with hands/arms and climb a ladder
  • Manual dexterity to use hand tools
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Visual acuity
  • Use proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) ESD lab coat, nitrile gloves, finger cots and safety glasses
