A growing manufacturing company of wellness-oriented beauty products in Beech Grove is seeking a Maintenance Technician. 

This is a 1st Shift, Temp-to-Hire opportunity!

We seek an individual who has experience to work well with others in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance both inside/outside of the facility.
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
• Quality check equipment regularly to ensure everything is in working order.
• Follow preventative maintenance program.
• Troubleshoot common issues with equipment and assist operators with getting back to a productive mode.
• Repair machines in order to limit machinery downtime during production.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while completing tasks related to maintenance, repair or installation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-3 years of work experience in manufacturing environment.
• Ability to analyze problems, apply critical thinking and find creative solutions.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to grow and learn to meet any challenges necessary for the job.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Fork lift experience/certification is a plus.
• Electrical expertise is a strong plus.
• High school diploma/GED required.
