Volt has partnered with a leading company in the post-harvest fumigation business. Our purpose is to introduce and expand the use of our patented, innovative, and eco-friendly technology. We provide fumigation services to customers around the USA. We are looking for a Manager - Business Development/Sales to develop new markets and increase the existing market share for USA.
- Develop new markets for in USA.
- Increase market share of current market, acquiring new customers, calling/visiting prospects and referrals from existing customers.
- Ensures customer accounts are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner, addressing problems that may arise.
- Provides detailed records monthly for business development activities.
- Generate sales budget and propose sales / business development plan.
- Generate accurate quote based on labor and materials used.
- Submits accurate orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Prepares and delivers sales presentations to prospective customers, general manager and shareholders.
- Applies effective negotiation strategies to secure new customers.
- Create and develop (SOPs) in the area of business development.
- Accepts ownership for accomplishing new and different requests for business growth.
- Develops a great understanding of how each department operates by involving themselves in all aspects office/fields operations.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in products/industry training opportunities.
- Protects organization’s confidential/proprietary information, e.g., trade secrets, customer lists, pricing.
- Represents company at industry events; promote/sale products and services.
- Maintains procedures in compliance with company safety and quality standards
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree Required. Preferred: Business or Business Agriculture degree encouraged to apply.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Driver’s License (current) - Required
SKILLS
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
3+ years of experience in a market/sales development role
Flexible work schedule - Required.
Travel of 50%+ - Required.
CA Qualified Applicator - Preferred but not required.

Salary DOE: $50,000 -$60,000 Annually
