Volt is immediately hiring Manufacturing Assemblers in Oxford, Ohio.

As a Manufacturing Assembler you will:

  • Assemble various electrical components and devices, working from blueprints, sketches and other established procedures and data. Alter parts to suit assemblies as required. Inspect, label, pack and identify assemblies as required
  • Sets-up and operates equipment, including tooling and controls.
  • Makes necessary gauge adjustments and settings.
  • Select proper raw stocks and checks against blueprint specifications.
  • Segregates, sorts, and disposes of scrap and writes scrap tickets.
  • Assist with hanging and removing parts on the powder coat line.
  •  

This is a Full-Time-Temp to Permanent opportunity.

 

The ideal Manufacturing Assembler will have:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Warehouse, assembly, or manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to carry out physical functions of the job: stoop, kneel, crouch, walk, stand, reach, and lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to reach overhead, pull and push to perform work.
  • Strong work ethic and good attendance.
  • A pre-employment drug screen as well as a background check is required.

 

Schedules/Shifts

  • 1st Shift (Monday-Thursday) 6am-4:30pm
  • 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday) 4:30pm-3am

 

Pay Rate*: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
