REPORTS TO: Manufacturing Manager

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Manufacturing Clerk is responsible for providing the Accounts Payable department with the documentation required for the timely payment of nanoIR supplier invoices. He/she will also pick materials from inventory to kit Manufacturing work orders for nanoIR systems and parts orders, using pcMRP (ERP system) to perform accurate and timely material movement transactions, and our Material Requisition process to request materials from Central Stores as needed to complete the kitting process. The Material Expediter will be responsible for monitoring availability of short materials and prioritizing the movement of short materials to open work orders when materials become available to minimize delays in production builds.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Works with Manufacturing Manager to collect incoming material shipment receipts, scan receipts, match receipts with PO, and forward receipt and PO to Account Payable for processing of payment • Accurately picks material from warehouse locations to kit work orders • Ensures part count accuracy within the warehouse and in individual work orders to support overall inventory accuracy • Monitors and tracks part shortages to released work orders, working with the nano IR Mfg. Manager to minimize number of “short” work order released to production floor • Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, including all applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety policies. • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to work standing, sitting and walking for most of a scheduled shift
• Must be able to push cart holding up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• May be asked to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Job requires frequent bending, stooping and kneeling
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Basic computer skills are required, e.g. experience using Microsoft products
• Experience using an ERP system is preferred
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, with frequent changes in deadlines and priorities
• Must demonstrate good judgment, decision-making, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Must demonstrate accurate clerical and data entry skills to maintain integrity and accuracy of inventory in warehouse

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• College coursework preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
