Volt is looking for a Manufact? uring Engineer to work in a contingent position with our cli? ent in Little Rock.  The ME works both independently%?20and as part of a team to maintain and improve processes ? and systems used in large equipment manufacturing. The incumbe? nt analyzes and recommends current and future systems, procedu? res and equipment needs based on manufacturing requirements.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include%?2C but are not limited to:

Perform technical analysis of manufacturing processe? s;

  • Design / direct the acquisition of%2? 0all necessary tooling and machines;
  • Troubl? eshoot day-to-day process issues, develops solutions and mon? itors improvements;
  • Procure material related%?20to manufacturing improvements through external suppliers;Analyze and deploys engineering change notices;%3? C/li>
  • Establish and maintain standard work;
  • Respond to customer issues and lead process i? mprovements Assist in the development of detailed systems report? ing for major business systems or technical support and/or d? evelopment, integration and implementation projects.

    • Applies systems solutions%2? 0to business/technical problems through customer interactions, d? esign, programing, debugging, testing, and integration/imple? mentation of automated information technology systems and componen? ts.
    • This is not a traditional Information? Technology role, but a computer systems-focused role within? a technical Manufacturing team with the intent to develop c? ustomized reporting and systematic solutions for data gathering,? manipulation, and reporting.
    • Data will%2? 0be made available through a variety of systems (SAP, VPPA? , TeamCenter, DeviceWise, Infinity/SPC, MS Office, etc%2? E)
    • Responsibilities on the incumbents are%2? 0with individual assigned development and/or maintenance of exis? ting mainframe, PC, server, network, and/or distributed ? computing systems and infrastructure.
    • Able ? to create reports within SAP MII and Data Visualization (Tab? leau/Power BI) to develop & deploy throughout manufact? uring facility processes.
    • Provide project %?26amp; system solutions as a project team member. Position%2? 0will be expected to participate in projects with little super? vision.
    • Able to work on complex applicati? on development.
    • Perform application quality%2? 0testing and validation through customer acceptance coordination.%?3C/li>
    • Full knowledge of programing languages appr? opriate for platform support. Spec development, logic &%3? B diagrams, and analytic techniques.
    • Perf? orm integration tasks with in-house developed systems &%?20purchased hardware and/or software.
    • Assis? t customers in training & usability efforts.
