Manufacturing Engineer - 3rd shift in Waterloo, IA at Volt

Volt is hiring for an entry level a 3^rd Shift Manufacturing Engineer onsite at our client, John Deere, located in Waterloo, IA in a contingent position forecasted for 1+ year.  We are looking for recent Industrial Technology/Engineering 2020 graduates ideally already local to the Midwest.

Within this role, you will be working out on the shop floor so you must be comfortable in this environment. These openings will mainly be 3rd shift (10:30 pm to 7:00 am) but candidates must be open to both 3rd and 1st shift. Overtime is likely, weekend and before shift starts.

Requirements:

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology or Engineering
• Prefer experience in steel component manufacturing.
  Previous experience and proficiency using Excel, Tableau, PowerBI and/or other analytical tools.
• Experience designing or approving tooling and gaging designs is preferred.
• This position will start onsite on the first day. This position is located in Waterloo, IA candidates MUST be able to relocate to this location at their own expense.
