Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is recruiting for a Manufacturing Operations Analyst for Our Client’s the Site Operations Integration Division in Everett, Washington.  Our client offers exciting job opportunities as one of the world's largest aerospace companies and by being a leading manufacturer of commercial jetliners and defense, space and security systems.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide hands on support for assigned BCA programs as the FOD (Foreign Object Damage) & Tool Control Focal from a BCA level perspective
  • Lead and plan quarterly FOD Non-Advocate Reviews, proactively provide programs with guidance and direction to sustain the gains related to BCA FOD & Tool Control goals and strategy
  • Must possess knowledge of lean processes, participate/focal workshops and have a project management skill set
  • Must be able to partner with employees and managers in developing and executing the BCA FOD Team organizational vision and project plan
  • Identify risks and provide solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation
  • Participate in the development and validate sustainment of strategic plans and processes
  • Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives and mentors others in continuous improvement tools and principles
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders & peers
  • Responsible for preparation and execution of BCA FOD activities assigned
  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
  • Analyzes and interprets data
  • Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk
  • Responsible for providing weekly leadership visibility
  • Responsible for supporting the BCA FOD Lead in development, integration and management of the overall commodity, action items, and schedules 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Required Skills & Experience)

  • Must have experience leading or managing Corrective Actions or Root Cause Analysis
  • Must have at least three years in a Manufacturing environment experience
  • Must have at least at least one year of experience applying Quality Management Systems (QMS) while supporting manufacturing operations
  • Working knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint software

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (Desired Skills/Experience)  

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge and experience using Microsoft Access software
  • Strong skills in analyzing data and presenting material
  • Must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team lead, project, manager)
  • Must have at least one year experience leading a Foreign Object Damage (FOD) Prevention and Tool Management activities in a production environment
  • Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
  • Previous or current experience in a role that requires articulating data analysis summaries verbally or via PowerPoint presentations to various audience including senior management

TYPICAL EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
