Volt is immediately hiring for a Manufacturing Production worker in Newport, DE

 

 

As a Manufacturing Production Worker you will:

Job Description:

  • Safely and efficiently load, unload, and transfer sensitive materials into columns using machine-assisted and computer-automated processes

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Work at various stations that utilize different chemicals and solvents, carefully pouring materials into small columns
  • Maintain high-precision operations while following strict contamination control and clean-room standards
  • Monitor processes through computer systems and report any deviations or variances to supervisors promptly
  • Follow all safety, PPE, and chemical-handling procedures in compliance with OSHA and company policies

 

This is a full time opportunity.

2nd shift available:

3:10 pm - 1:40 am, Monday – Thursday

                            

The ideal candidate will have: Manufacturing/Production Assembly Experience. Meticulous focus on maintaining sterile conditions, precision work, and avoiding contamination.

Required skills & Qualifications:

  • Assembly Experience: Prior hands-on experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly environments where accuracy, consistency, and quality standards are critical
  • Safety Conscious: Strict adherence to OSHA regulations, PPE usage, and chemical-handling safety guidelines
  • Comfort with Chemicals: Ability to safely handle chemicals and solvents while following established procedures
  • Computer Skills: Comfortable using computers and automated equipment for monitoring and documenting processes
  • Communication: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and clearly communicate process deviations or concerns to supervisors

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience for entry to this level
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work with chemicals is required
  • Assembly and manufacturing experience
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written

 

Pay Rate: $25.89 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
