Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is currently searching for the right candidate for one of our major client’s in Wilmington DE as a Manufacturing Tech Coordinator.

The Manufacturing Tech Coordinator will be primarily responsible for assembly on the GCMS (Gas Chromatography – Mass Spectrometry) product lines which includes but is not limited to assembling and/or testing sub-assemblies related to the GCMS product line.  Will also be responsible for performing a variety of duties within a manufacturing environment. Duties may be related to material processes, manufacturing process support, equipment setup and/or operation, test and repair, and quality inspection.
 

Position:         Manufacturing Tech Coordinator

Hours:            Monday – Friday      8 AM – 4:30 PM

Duration:        12 months

Pay Rate:       $15.00 - $16.00/hour

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works on process/product/production assignments with clearly defined objectives
  • Perform routine production line tasks using hand tools and/or operating equipment according to quality procedures
  • Nonconforming material/product, equipment calibration, ESD precautions, etc.
  • Monitor & verify quality of each production operation using visual inspection, basic measurement devices and automated test equipment
  • Manage the inventory function on the bench
  • Support team members in achieving the production line objectives and goals through effective teamwork. This includes providing constructive feedback to peers
  • Maintain flexibility and receptiveness to change in daily routine which includes a willingness to move to another shift
  • Understand & meet all appropriate specified standard times


JOB REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Previous Manufacturing experience
  • Attention to detail/strict adherence to documented processes and procedures
  • Demonstrated fine motor skills working on small components or assemblies
  • No known allergies to industrial chemicals used in the work area
  • Willingness to move to another shift
  • Position requires lifting of up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Position requires sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and walking for up to 8 hours per day
